I’m happy to introduce to you another new hot toy for the holidays from Jakks Pacific, Max Tow Truck. A lot of the time people associate trucks with boys and dolls with girls. I tell you this toy is for every gender of all ages. My husband and I decided to play with the truck to try out all it’s features. When you first install the 6 “C” size batteries (not included) Max tell you to hit his bumper. When you do that he “farts” and then laughs saying “got ya”. After all the silliness we decided to test out it’s claim to be able to pull up to 200 lbs.
The package comes with a detachable battery pack for demo purposes. It also comes with two wheels off that easily attached with a snap.
It is recommended to use something to put the 200 lbs in that easily slides across the floor. Although we haven’t gotten all the way up to 200lbs, we have pushed a box with around 20lbs and pulled weights of 15lbs. Max goes in to hyper gear and can pull it with ease. It’s also cool to watch him hit an obstacle and try to climb it, he even tried climbing the baby gate and would have been able to do it if it wasn’t so high.
My husband and I had a ton of fun and our kids had to beg us to let them have a turn. So, we had to be nice and let them play too. All three of my kids LOVED watching Max Tow Truck push heavy boxes across the floor. Later, once we figure out how to do it, we plan on trying to have each kids pulled by Max. I can predict a lot of laughter and “oh’s” & “ah’s” to how strong Max is.
Warning, this toy is a lot of fun. You won’t want to let your kids play with it, you’ll want to keep it all for yourself. Below is a video of Max Tow Truck in action and my kids’ thoughts about him.
