My Thoughts-
Like Never Before by Melissa Tagg

Amelia Bentley found herself in a small town in Iowa, Maple Valley, after going though a hard time with her love life. Maple Valley has become the home town of her dreams. She loves working for the small town newspaper but is soon scared the new owner will close it down or sell it. Little did she new, this new owner would be her writing idol, Logan Walker. Logan comes to town thinking he would do a quick sell of the newspaper but soon finds that he is torn between his life in Cali and his life in Iowa. Love is in the air, Logan’s daughter needs stability and he just doesn’t know what to do. Logan’s dad encourages him to reach towards God. It’s a difficult journey not only for Logan but also for Amelia.

I LOVED this book. I love that it is places in Iowa (where I grew up), I could picture the land, even though it’s a made up town I imagined it looked a lot like my small Iowa town. I also love the romantic tension between Logan and Amelia. Neither are looking for love and both can’t even see it when it’s right in front of their faces.

The people of Maple Valley have captured my heart. I would love to read more about them. This book was the feel good book I needed this time in my life.
