My Thoughts-
My kids always love National Geographic books and their new ones for the summer to celebrate Finding Dory did not disappoint my children.

IMG_4998Ocean Animals Sticker Activity Book” contains over 1000 sticker, plus fun activities such as mazes, puzzles, fun facts, and many games. The books introduces ocean animals in a fun way. Each page shares fun facts and your child can add corresponding stickers to the pages. The first page is fitting to the new movie coming out with introducing us to Clownfish and where they live. We also learn about crabs, octopus, dolphins and so much more. My kids were in wonder looking at this book. It made them want to see these animals in real life, to visit the ocean. They also couldn’t wait to do the activities together. The book is geared towards children ages 4-8.

IMG_5001Ocean Animals: Who’s Who in the Deep Blue” is my favorite book. Each page is filled with vibrant images/photographs of ocean animals. The photos are so detailed that it made me feel like I was there in the ocean seeing the animals. Fitting for the new movie coming out, the cover shows a “Dory” blue tang fish. The cover even has a texture to the fish, making it feel 3D. Children will learn more about ocean life than they do from the Ocean Animals Sticker Activity book. This book is geared more towards to ages 8-12. However, the pictures are fun for all to look at. My 3 year old said “wow” and “so cute” a lot while looking at it with me.

As always, National Geographic Kids books are entertaining, fun to look at and educational. These books would be fun to take on your family vacation/stay-cation. My oldest is also thinking of writing a report on the Oceans Animals Who’s Who in the Deep Blue, she’s excited to learn from it.
