“Killing Jane” by Stacy Green
Erin Prince (AKA Princess) is a rookie homicide investigator who is trying to prove that she’s good at what she does. That she didn’t get the job because of her family name. (Her family are well known in the political world and have a lot of money) She’s called to a brutal homicide and she knows she can’t get this wrong and needs to work quickly. The story line is full of violent deaths, drugs, pornography scandals, and secrets that were best left unsaid until the murders began. With a twist on Jack the Ripper, this book is fast paced and in the end you’re in for a big surprise.
I loved this book. The detail in the writing had me feel like I was on the case with Erin. I wanted to solve these murders before anyone else was killed. The author did a great job at playing with my emotions. There were times I would be mad, and other time I was crying.
I loved this book so much that I wanted to learn more about the author, Stacy Green. She’s a fellow Iowa girl that grew up only 30 minutes away from me and she graduated high school a year before me. I found it really cool to see we had a close connection even if we never met. She’s written another books and I plan on picking those books up soon. I love her style of writing.
