10 Minute Trainer- 1 month update (4 weeks)
ABOUT-
Well, I’m done with 1 month on 10 Minute Trainer. It’s been a great month. I love using this program and love how convenient it is.
The first week on TMT I lost 5lbs, however I was in training for an event and was working out for 2+ hours a day. I knew this would go back up after I was training and the next week I gained 4lbs. The third week I lost no weight and this last week I gained 2lbs. And to be honest it’s my fault. The past week I have been snacking late at night. And not very healthy snacks. Usually cookies or chips. This is not like me. I have been doing so great this past year, eating right and healthy. So there is no excuse for why I have failed this past week. So right here and now I am promising myself and all of you that I am getting back on track.
As for 10 Minute Trainer I want to keep up with it. I still haven’t had a chance to try out the door hookup for the cardio workout. I can tell you this, even though it asks for it you can still get a great workout for it. I do look forward to the extra challenge and I can’t wait to share with you how it feels/works.
Even though this past month I gained a total of 1lb you can see that I have lost inches. This feels great. At least I know I’m shrinking the fat off.
I highly recommend 10 Minute Trainer for those who are short on time or haven’t had a lot of experience with working out. It’s a great workout in a short amount of time. So even if you’re getting tired you only have 10 minutes and you can push yourself through it.
ERICA’S Weekly Stats-
I weighed in at 190lbs today. For a GAIN this week of 1.0lbs and a total of +1.0lbs.

10 Minute Trainer- Week 3 update
My Thoughts-
Three weeks done of the 10 Minute Trainer and I’m feeling amazing. I look forward to my time to workout everyday. This week I had the chance to do more then just the 10 minutes a day which was so nice, I don’t always get that chance but this week was different. That is one thing I’m loving about the 10 Minute Trainer, it’s easy to do just 10 minutes or they make it possible to add up to 30 minutes in a day. There really isn’t any excuse of why you can’t have time to workout. And my muscles are really feeling the benefits for my TMT workouts.
The last exercise I want to share with you is the “Total Body”. This workout is head-to-toe. While you’re working on your arms you are also working on your abs and legs. You may feel the burn in just your arms but Tony has made each move to work everything in your body while you do it. This workout is the hardest for me to do next to the “abs” workout. I’m usually sore the next day and am glad I get a break in between for this workout. My arms are totally loving this and I can feel my core is getting stronger.
Next week is my 1 month on 10 Minute Trainer. I can’t wait to share my stats with you and post a new photo for you. I can see and feel little changes already.

10 Minute Trainer- Week 2 update
My Thoughts-
This week my plan was to do 2 10 Minute Trainer workouts a day, adding 20 minutes of it. But the WHOLE family has been sick this week. Tummy flu, strep throat, ear infection and fevers were my week. BUT with all that being said I still made a purpose to fit in one workout a day. I did have a few days I was able to do 2 workouts in one day, those days were fun. I’m really liking doing these workouts and Tony Horton gives you two ways to do each move if they are more difficult. You can do it the “regular” way or use the “modification”.
I also want to talk about two of the other workouts in this program. Last week I talked about “cardio” and “Yoga Flex”. This week I’d like to share my thoughts on “Abs” and “Lower Body”.
I actually “hate” both workouts. When I say “hate”, I mean they kicked my butt really hard. With “Lower Body” you are doing a lot of squat moves and you can really feel the BURN. I look forward to working more and more with this and seeing my legs and bum get stronger. For the “Abs” you do 20 moves in 10 minutes. 10 minutes of ab work is no joke. I feel like I can’t finish before it’s even half over. The great thing is Tony says “if you need a break or need to modify do it”. Even at one point the girl who is doing the workout needs to modify. She’s very fit and to know even she needs to modify helps encourage me to keep going. The first workout after doing “abs” I could hardly sit up the next day. It was quite funny actually. But after 2 weeks of it, it’s getting better.
I know I have a lot of people say to me, “what can 10 minutes really do?” I tell them now, “A LOT”! I was in ok shape before this and it is still hard for me and I was still sore after starting. Plus if I have more time I have a schedule/program that helps me be able to get up to 30 minutes of a workout in a day.
A workout is what you make of it. If you want results you’ll put in you 110% if you just want to flop around then don’t work as hard. I can’t wait to share with you my 1 month results from using 10 Minute Trainer. 2 more weeks for the results.

10 Minute Trainer- 1 week
My Thoughts-
I am really LOVING working out to 10 Minute Trainer everyday. I think Moo loves me doing it too. She’s decided to “try too” when I’m working out. She’s way too cute trying at 2.5 years old. But at the same time there is a lot she can do or at least try to do in the videos.
This week I was training for the Spin12 event I did this weekend. So I was working out 2 hours a day. I only did the 10 Minute Trainer for one workout a day and then focused on legs and cardio the rest of the day. My goal for this week is to cut back on the 2 hours a day and hopefully add 1-2 more 10 Minute Trainer workouts a day.
I want to share with you my two favorite workout this week. The first is “Cardio”. Although it’s only 10 minutes it’s really working me out HARD. You move from one move to the next without taking a break. This workout also involves a special attachment to the door and your waste, this adds resistance. This week I haven’t used this but I plan on adding it this coming week, I’ll let you know what I think of the added resistance later. Without the resistance it’s tough so it will be interesting to add extra to it. What I love is you can use the resistance or don’t have to. Plus this helps you start off slow and work your way up to harder.
The second workout I love is “Yoga Flex”. I love yoga in general and what Tony has us do feels so great, and I get to do it twice a week as my first workout. I love that it stretches out my arms and legs and still gets my heart-rate up.
I’m really loving the 10 Minute Trainer and I’m happy to get to share my experience with you.
Weight-
Usually I would give you a weekly update on my weight. But because I was training for 2 hours a day this week, I had a big weight-loss. I do know when I slow down next week will either be the same or a slight gain. With this being said I decided for the first month I will wait til my 1 month update to give you my stats, I hope you all will understand.

My Thoughts-
Welcome to my new fit challenge. I’m going to be trying out 10 Minute Trainer for the next 3 months. One excuse people give when it comes to not working out and being a mom time is even shorter. But I hope to show you that with a program like 10 Minute trainer there is no excuse. Some days I will only have time for a 10 minute workout but on days I have more time I will be adding 1-2 more workouts. The nice thing about this program is they give you a calendar with the 10 minute workout you should do that for that day, but if you want to add 1-2 more workouts they give you the ones you can do for that day too.
10 years ago I tried Tony Horton’s Power 90 and it was kick butt, so I look forward to the 10 Minute Trainer(TMT). My goals are to loose inches, some weight and be able to show off some muscles.
After the first two workouts I can tell you this is no joke. 10 Minutes isn’t easy. You do ten moves in ten minutes without taking a break to reset. I know a lot of times when working out we take 30-40 seconds to reset for the next move. Well, not here, you just keep moving. It’s hard at first since I don’t know the workouts but I’m sure in a week or two I’ll be use to them and be able to switch over quickly.
What does this workout come with?
-30 day calendar
-measuring tape
-resistance band
-cardio belt
-door attachment
-2 DVD’s containing- Total Body, Lower Body, Abs, Cardo and Yoga Flex
-10 on-the-go workout cards
-measurement tracker
-10 Minute Meals book
-Rapid Results Guidebook
-2-day Jump Start
Before I give you my weight, I need those of you who have been here awhile to know that I’m using a new scale and it weighs me heavier then my old scale, I have gained a few pounds since my last official weigh-in back in Sept with RevAbs but only a few. My goal is to loose 20-25lbs on this new program and I hope that will help with the small weight gain and help get me where I want to finally be at(165-160). I also want to point out that I did gain some inches back. Breaks my heart knowing how hard I worked for a tinier body to just let it go over the past couple of months. But I know I can get back to my fitter body quickly and I will be tinier then I was in September, with hopefully some muscle to show off too.
