September 2011- Rogers TV appearance
I had the privilege again to be on Rogers Cable 20 out of Kitchener/Waterloo, Ontario area, on the show ‘daytime’, this time with Susan Cook-Scheerer. The show airs LIVE at noon and then re-air at 3, 6 & 11.
I am so happy and honored to be back on ‘daytime’ and to be part of their opening show for their 15th season. The set has changed so much and feels so much more inviting to guests. It’s like chit-chatting over coffee/tea and sharing my thoughts. And this time Lee got to be on with me showing off her new back-to-school items.
In this show I got to talk about back-to-school products for your kids. the first product I introduced was a ColorFusion shirt by Quagmire Kids, a company out of Toronto. The shirt changes color with heat. I love it mainly because it reminded me of my childhood and the color changing shirts I had. So cool and fun to see an old fashion come back around for your children.
The next thing I talked about was The EasyLunchBox System invented by Kelly Lester out of California. We used ours all last year and are very excited to use it again this year. It fits both lunches that the kids need for school and is easy to pack with the healthy foods your kid needs.
The last product I talked about was Friendzip Bracelets. Sharing bracelets and making them for your friends has been around for a long long time. I love this new twist on it. you have two bracelets and zip them in half, you then zip the opposite halves together and you and your friend have matching bracelets. Betty from North Carolina came up with these and they are a hit in our household.
We had a BLAST on the show today and can’t wait to come back again. I might have an opportunity to be on the show in October talking about fitness and health products(nothing confirmed or anything). Can’t wait.
Thank you Rogers Cable 20 and Susan Cook-Scheerer. Also a HUGE thank you to The EasyLunchBox System, Friendzip Bracelets and Quagmire Kids.
I also did reviews of these companies on my blog below are the links to the reviews-

peacock & lime- review (CLOSED)
ABOUT peacock & lime-
“Peacock & Lime is fun, funky, one-of-a-kind artisan jewellery, that’s high quality and packed with vibrant color and whimsical design.” Handmade in Alberta.
My thoughts-
I get the joy of review the helios bracelet from the orbital collection. Made by peacock & lime from Alberta, Canada.
The only words that first came to mind are, “WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW and WOW!!” This is the most beautiful bracelet I have ever seen in my life. Also the most unique bracelet I’ll ever own. The glass beads are so detailed, and have tiny flowers on them. I also love how this bracelet is put together, some of the beads look like they are floating in side a ring, giving you that planet feeling.
I also got to see peacock & lime’s new heart “wish bracelet.” “Believe what you wish for”. You wear this bracelet, make a wish and when it wears off your wish comes true. Such a cute idea. The heart is so cute too.
I would totally recommend peacock & lime to all women. Totally beautiful, unique jewelry for every special women. I also love these are handmade in Canada.

My Thoughts-
I have the pleasure of reviewing a Tiffany inspired Floating Heart Necklace from bejool.com. First want to say I was impressed as soon as I opened my mail. The necklace was packed in a nice labeled box. (see below) The second thing I fell in love with is how beautiful the necklace actually was. The heart has a unique simple yet elegant quality about it and the chain is dainty. I put it on I felt so pretty as soon as I put it on.
I am allergic to many metals, so when I see that this necklace is made of Sterling Silver, I get excited. I can wear this necklace everyday and not have to worry about my neck hurting. I also don’t have to worry about it rusting, turning my neck green, or tarnishing.
I’m excited for the opening of bejool.com, coming this January. I can’t wait to see what other jewelry we will get to pick from. I recommend you check them out. And while you are there, sign up for their newsletter and you could win one of three prizes.(their giveaway ends Jan 15th)

$35 Fantasy Jewelry review (CLOSED)
I am so happy to get to work with Fantasy Jewelry to share with you about Helena’s Stainless Steel Heart Tag Bracelet. I picked this bracelet because I have been wanting one like this for so long. What I love first about this bracelet is how much less it costs then the “name brand” one I fell in love with 2 years ago.
I never thought I’d ever be able to have this cute bracelet but with Fantasy Jewelry’s awesome prices it is achievable.
My package came wrapped so nicely in a black box with a silver bow. Opening it made me feel so special. The bracelet itself is BEAUTIFUL. It’s everything I wanted it to be. I plan on engraving my girls names on it. My only complaint I have is that “Frontier Stainless Steel” across the middle on one side. I was hoping to use both sides for engraving but it’s ok, I think I’ll have enough room for all my kids and future kids to fit on one side.
I would totally recommend Fantasy Jewelry to everyone who wants beautiful jewelry at affordable prices.

Friendzip Bracelets

I recently won a set of Friendzip Bracelets from Mass Hole Mommy. I was so excited to win as I have been trying to win a set/or two for my daughter and her friends for awhile now. I knew they would be so cute and so much fun. I picked “Happy Hearts/Light Pink” and “Polka Dots”.
What is Friendzip Bracelets you may ask?
A quote from Frendzip’s twitter page:
“Friendzip bracelets are a fun bracelet to unzip and exchange with your BFF, and advice for girls to initiate positive relationships in their lives!”
You take two bracelets and unzip them and put them together mismatching to create a matching pair for you & your friend.
I was impressed from the opening of the package to putting it on my daughter’s arm. The bracelets were nicely & lovingly wrapped in pink tissue paper with cute pink heart stickers holding it together. Each bracelet was individually packed in professional packaging. Upon opening each pack I found a little slip of paper with some encouraging says on it about friendship. Each package also came with extra Velcro to easily adjust the bracelets to fit smaller arms.

The bracelets are very well put together (sewn very well) and are very cute. My daughter asked if she could wear it all the time. I said “yes, but not in the water or in bed”. LOL.
I thank Mass Hole Mommy and Friendzip Bracelets for letting me get these. I would definitely recommend these to my other friends with kids and I really hope to get at least one more set for my daughter. I think these would make perfect birthday gifts or even party favors.
