My Thoughts-
This is another WOW, review. I’m in love and impressed. I got the chance to review two Hello Kitty watches and a Hello Kitty camera case. There is so much more I can’t wait to buy from BudgetGadgets too and with FREE shipping I can’t go wrong. And I have to say the shipping was fast too.
The camera case I received was perfect for my tiny digital camera and is soft enough to protect of from bump in my purse. It also came with an extra matching camera strap that I can add to my camera or attach to the bag itself. The Hello Kitty design is really cute too.

I love both the watches I got too. One has a Stainless Steel band and the other a leather band. If I had to pick a favorite I would pick the metal watch one, only for the fact I love how cool it feels on my arm. Both have rinestones on them and both look very elegant yet fun with a cute Hello Kitty picture on them.

BudgetGadgets was also so kind to send me a free keychain with the bassgiraffe’s Thoughts logo on it. It was such a nice surprise and made my heart fill with so much pride seeing my logo on their product. And I must say the light on it is very bright. I carry it everywhere with me now.

I am very impressed with BudgetGadgets and hope to get to work with them again. I also know I will be going to them for my birthday and Christmas shopping. Qubie Coupon Organizing System- review (CLOSED)

ABOUT-
“The Qubie™ Coupon Organizing System is a fast, fun and easy way to organize ALL of the coupons in your life. You will always know exactly where your coupons are AND you always have them with you when you need them. Whether you are a beginner couponer or a seasoned pro, Qubie will work for you. You will spend less money at the store and more time on what really matters. Qubie will change the way you shop and SAVE money.”

My Thoughts-
I was sent Qubie Coupon Organizing System to test out for myself. I am an orgaizationnal person and am always interested in the different ways people organize. Each person has different ways that work for them and to learn/test out them is what gets me excited.
The Qubie system comes with the following-
The Qubie Pro (for grocery and pharmacy coupons)
The Qubie Plus (for specialty store coupons)
The Qubie Pal (for gift cards and restaurant coupons)
Qubie Bag

Although for me, I would not have room to carry all the systems with me, the Qubie Pal fits really nicely in my purse, so I know I’ll always have my gift cards with me. That is something I always get frustrated with, either I can’t find the card in my very full purse or I forgot it at home, with the Qubie Pal I don’t think I’ll run into that problem again.
The Qubie Pro is my dream of organization. There are plenty of slots for my coupons, they are clear pouches allowing me to see both side of the coupon, what it’s for, how much it is for and when it expires. There is also many dividers creating the ultimate organization coupon tool. For me though I have a lot to carry around with me already so this does not work for me. I think once we’re done with diaper bags and carrying around little ones I would love to use this full-time and get a lot out of it.
I haven’t been able to use the Qubie Plus as we don’t shop at specialty stores, but I can say it’s a nice size and fits in my purse for everyday use.
I am very impressed with the Qubie Coupon Organizing System. I see lots of savings in my and yours future with the Qubie

“Ditch the Joneses” book review (CLOSED)

ABOUT-
Ditch the Joneses, Discover Your Family” by Cathi Brese Doebler
“Helps parents make decisions about their finances that will allow them to actively seek more time together with their children and spouse.”

My Thoughts-
“Ditch the Joneses”, was an easy to read, easy to follow how-to book. In this book the author gives us the tools to become a single income family or a 1.5 income family.
We have been a single income family since our first child was born 5 years ago. But this book has given me even more ideas on things we can cut and live without so that bills aren’t always so tight. Plus I feel with these tools we can FINALLY have our school debt paid off, (I graduated in 2000 and my husband graduated in 2003 and we still have a ton of debt).
Although it would be the perfect plan to get out of debt and save up BEFORE having kids, that night not happen. And after baby is born you have a lot of decisions to make, like will someone stay home with the kids? Who will work? How will the bills be paid? can we make it? Is childcare worth it?
For us, we knew if I worked, I would be working to just pay for childcare and the cost of traveling to and from work and having an extra car.
Some of the things Cathi has you think about it the costs you incur with BOTH working. Some of this thoughts I wrote about were in this book. Such as- we’d have to pay insurance/gas/maintenance of two cars, we’d have to pay for childcare, lunches would cost more being out of the house. For us cutting this cost was worth staying home.
This book takes you through a lot of other things to think about when making the choice of staying home. Something else I like about this book is that it is written with a Christian perspective and after each chapter there is a prayer you can pray asking God to help you with the applications you learned in that chapter. The last chapter int he book has a place for you to write your action plan and what you need to do to make staying home work or reaching your goals.
Whether you have kids already or are thinking of having kids this book is perfect for you. There are a tons of money saving ideas and encouraging words helping you get through it. I really loved reading this book.

The Couponizer to the rescue!
Our system is uniquely designed to solve all the challenges associated with using coupons. For beginners, our system will get them started quickly, easily and start saving them real money on the first trip to the grocery store! For seasoned couponers who have a coupon inventory there is no need to abandon a long term storage solution! And..for the in between, well this is our sweet spot since moms run busy households and love saving money whenever they can! So many of our customers are so attached to their Couponizer since it increases confidence and consistency with using coupons for higher and more frequent savings!”

My Thoughts-
I loved The Couponizer so much I wanted to actually SHOW you how it works. Below are two videos of my thoughts. I will say, this is the most perfect coupon organizer I have found. I would always get frustrated not having enough slots/spots for each category of coupons I had. I also hated forgetting to look through my coupons to see if they were ending soon. The Couponizer has a slot for “coupons ending this month”., helping you remember to use your coupons on time.
The people at The Couponizer also provide you with a pair of scissors, a organizing folder to help you get your coupons ready to go into the Couponizer, a shopping list and a list to keep track of the coupons you have used.
PLEASE watch these videos, I was impressed and I hope you will be too.
VIDEO Review-

What you get-
“The Couponizer booklet – measures 8″ tall, 6″ wide, 1″ deep (before coupons), 18 pockets for grocery coupons, 6 pockets for other coupons such as Restaurants, Retail, Rewards, 2 shopping pockets (Coupons to be used this shopping trip & Checkout), 3 loyalty card card sleeves, metal spiral bind, elastic closure strap, durable plastic covers. Baby Diner review & 50% discount code

Ok first, raise of hands, how many of you have kids? Or maybe the better question is, how many of you have kids that like to throw their bowl or plate on the floor at dinner time? I bet many of you raised your hands, I know I did. Well that time has come to an end in our household thanks to the Baby Diner.

What is the Baby Diner? you may ask.
“Baby Diner attaches to any smooth table top or structure and allows a parent or guardian to secure any smooth bottom sided plate, bowl or any other dishware to prevent young children from accidentally knocking or throwing dishes on the floor. “

In other words it gives us parents a peace of mind knowing they won’t throw their bowl on the floor, or have to eat off a dirty table in a restaurant, or you having to hand feed your child.

My Thoughts-
There was some assembly required and it was tough to get the suction cups to go in the plastic. But I think that is a good thing, it means it would be hard for your kid to take it apart. The suction cups work amazing too.
The thing I love the most is meals have been easy to clean up. her tray is clean and the Baby Diner is simple to wipe up. I totally recommend this to all parents/grandparents with little kids.

Our 15 month old, Moo, loved it. At first it wasn’t love as she got frustrated not being able to throw her bowl. She tugged and pulled and twisted with all her might but it stayed stuck to the table. Soon she was eating and laughing and just enjoying her meal, in a bowl and not on the table.

BUY IT NOW:

VERY Happy Mail Day

Look what came in the mail on Monday! My friend calls them Fluffy Mail, I call this Happy Fluffy Mail.

10 FuzziBunz Perfect Size diapers. We purchased these from Mother Of a Sale Site for only $12 each.

My dealings with MOAS was amazing. I ordered these diapers on Sept 17th and only paid $5.60 shipping and they arrived on Sept 27th. Only 10 days to get here. MOAS are located in Canada, so that helped with shipping but I’ve had other Canadian items take up to two weeks to get to me. On top of the fast shipping, they were quick to fix a problem before it even started. The sale was for “scratch & dent” diapers from FuzziBunz, they were marked “large” but were really “medium”. They were having some issues with this info and instead of causing any more problems they sent me real “mediums” to insure I got what I wanted. Before I received my order I was asking them MANY questions and they were quick on their response to me.

As for our FuzziBunz. WE LOVE them. I love all the colors they have to pick from and how adjustable they are to fit Moo perfectly. They are easy to load the cloth insert into the pocket and the different rows of snaps made it nice to fit in the legs and tummy so they wont leak. I kind of wish we bought a few more, and will probably look into buying more in the future.

You can find Mother of a Sale at the following:
