Chirply- review (CLOSED)

My Thoughts-
I received the above cards from Chirply for my review. Aren’t they totally cute? I love them. Lee loves them too. She’s going to send the “memories” (my favorite) card to her grandparents in Iowa to let them know she’s thinking of them.
I also love the quality of them. The paper of the card and envelope is very strong and not like dollar store cheap ones. The printing on them is very nice and bright too. I love so many of the prints at Chirply, it’s going to be hard to figure out which others ones I’ll want to buy, maybe my hubby will let me get one of each!?
Another thing I love about these card is that each one is in a plastic protective sleeve, keeping them nice looking for sharing.

Stick Figure Family Car Stickers by Belvedere Designs

My Thoughts-
I was so excited to be chosen to work with Belvedere Designs to create Family Stickers for our van. I got to try out their custom made checkout process which was very simple to use. They have so many different choices of heads, bodies, heights, clothing… This allowed me to pick out the perfect features to match my family. Lee is a dancer, Moo has a cute dress and a pixie hair-cut, Chris & I have glasses on. Once our decals came I was very pleased and couldn’t wait to put it on our van.
The decal came with simple directions to follow and the decal itself was very easy to apply. I’ve always wanted a family Decal sticker on my car and now I have one that is totally cute.
Belvedere Designs also does Vinyl Letters and wall Quotes. These are something I’m also interested in and we may think of using Belvedere Designs to fill our need for this. We were so pleased with our car decal and I know we will be pleased with our wall Quote.
Belvedere Designs also has a contest that is really cool where you can submit photos of your wall Quotes each month for a chance to win a $50.00 gift certificate with their monthly photo contest.

My Thoughts-
I am so glad to be working with the Canadian base company StickerYou/ They are totally customizable or you can pick from their hundreds of icons and designs. For my page I picked out a few “Little Miss/Mr stickers” and also add a few of my bassgiraffe’s Thoughts logo.
When customizing my page I could pick out how big or small each sticker would be and whether I wanted them cute closely around each symbol or if I wanted them square/round. All this allows you to add a lot to each page. Their program to make your page was very easy to use too.
I’m still figuring out where I want to put all my labels but I put a “Little Miss” sticker on my cell phone and I put a logo sticker on my computer. When I was placing the logo sticker on I accidentally put it on crocked. The sticker was easy to peel off and stick back on again. I was happy to not have to waste a sticker because of my mistake.
I LOVED working with StickerYou and will be using their services again. I hope to have a few more stickers designed for me for use on folders, boxes and all the material I carry around when going to events to promote bassgiraffe’s Thoughts. Plus I hope to order more “Little Miss/Mrs” stickers, they bring me back to my childhood, I LOVED those books. Thank you StickerYou for a great experience.

“Joey The Penguin” book series #1 & 2 review

In the story, Preston teaches Joey and his friends how to play a game of hockey.”
My Thoughts-
The first book is about Joey the Penguin and meeting all of his new friends while he tries to put together a baseball game. You also get to learn about the different type of arctic animals and where they live.The book also teaches about getting along and welcoming those that might be different from you.
the second book features Preston the polar bear. He is on a mission to help save the planet from global warming. He teaches about recycling, reusing and reducing. This is a fun way to teach your kids about taking care of our Earth. Preston also teaches the animals how to play hockey, a fun sport here in Canada, eh? 
I love both of these books and can’t wait to read more. I see one of his next books will be about a Shark with dyslexia, perfect for me as I struggle with this daily and as a kid my teachers didn’t recognize this in me. So to have a book talking about it is awesome, it helps get the word out.
I love that these books are fun colorful and teach moral, life lessons in a fun way for your kids. You learn about acceptance, helping the planet and even about being active with sports. There is so much to these books. One last thing I want to add is I love the illustrations (Ian Gallant) in these books, the characters really come to life.

Sparkle Farms bloomer shorts review (CLOSED)

My Thoughts-
I had the joy of working with Sparkle Farms, bloomer shorts for your active child. They fit perfectly and my little monkey has already gotten so much use out of them. She loves to dance and lift her leg in the air AND wear a skirt. Now no more, “Lee, be like a lady in that skirt”. Now she can be a regular kid but with style.
Each bloomer has little clear rhinestones on them, making them so special for my little girl. She said they are her princess stones. Lee’s favorite color is purple and she wants to wear the purple one with every skirt, we usually have to work with her on matching her shorts. She told me they fit nice and don’t pinch her tummy or (inner) legs. I think she can’t wait til Spring/Summer so she can wear skirts everyday and with her new Sparkle Farms bloomers, she’s even more excited. “Now I can wear a skirt and play, mommy!” ~Lee.
We will also be able to use these for dance class as they are the perfect shape and size for that too. We will get SO much use out of them. AND with Easter coming up I’m excited to have these bloomers. They come in three different colors and I won’t have to worry about finding a dress to match one of them, I’m sure out of pink, purple or white we will find that perfect dress to match.

Dropper Bopper- Cool Drop review (CLOSED)

My Thoughts-
I am totally in love with these collectible toys. And I am excited to be sharing this new collectible toy with you. Cool drop is so cute and I can’t wait for Pretty Drop to come out, Lee is already asking for her.
Each Dropper Bopper has a bean bag type feel and it soft. Cool drop has cool music shades and headphone really fitting in to the “cool” style. Each Dropper Bopper also comes with their own saying, you can see above what Cool Drop says. I also love that each Dropper Bopper comes with a certificate, making them collectible as well as a cute, fun toy. AND not only all that their boxes are pretty sweet. You get the digital cartoon of your Dropper Bopper. I really think they thought of everything to make these unique, collectible, fun and cute. I’ve never seen a toy with so much thought put into it for those reasons. We’ve seen toys that are collectible but don’t have a certificate with the year/month that it was created. I’ve seen collectible stuffed toys in the store but never in this nice of packaging. Or you have the collectible that is hard/small/or delicate, that you can’t even enjoy them. I really believe with the dropper Bopper we have it all.
I think people from all ages will love these. I know Lee and I have “fought” over who gets to have Cool Drop, LOL. We love him a lot. And now you will have a chance to win one for yourself, see the giveaway below.
