Reach Total Care + Whitening products review & giveaway
My Thoughts-
I love to talk the importance of being healthy. Usually people think being healthy involves eating right and exercising. Those are highly important but did you know good oral care is very important too? if your teeth are in bad health so will be the rest of your body.
REACH understands the importance of this too and now has some great products for brushing & whitening, as well as flossing and whitening, all at the same time.
The tooth brush has an easy to hold handle, allowing me to reach even the hard back teeth. The bristles feel nice on the teeth and gums too. My teeth really felt clean after using it.
The floss has an easy tear tab and goes nicely in-between each tooth. I’ve had some floss that leaves tiny thread pieces, I hate that. With the REACH whitening floss I didn’t have any issues.
Did you know that you should replace your toothbrush every three months? Why not replace it with Reach Total Care + Whitening products? I know I’m using mine and loved it so much that I would love to see you using it too.

The Doodle Roll- review & giveaway
My Thoughts-
My girls LOVE to color so when I heard about the Doodle Roll I couldn’t wait for them to try it out. When it came in the mail THEY couldn’t wait to try it out either.
In the picture above they are sharing the 6″ Doodle Roll pack. It comes with a nice size roll of paper and 8 crayons. You can keep the roll inside the packaging for the easy tear edge or take it out and use it like my girls did.
Lee had me draw a line on the paper so Moo wouldn’t draw on her side and then they got down on the floor and began to create. I love this product because usually Moo wants to color on the same paper as Lee but Lee wants her paper to herself. With the Doodle Roll I didn’t have any issues or fights. Lee is even excited to make a banner for their playroom. She said it will say “Lee & Moo’s Playroom) with rainbows and penguins. I love her ideas.
These Doodle Roll kits will be perfect for our family this summer as we travel a lot. You have everything you need all in one tiny package. And with all that you get I find they are very reasonably priced, so we will be buying a few of them for the summer.

“Get Skinny” book review & giveaway
My Thoughts-
“Get Skinny” by Scott Schmaltz is a book that takes you through 6 weeks of changing your body, health and self image. Each main chapter teaches you a bit more on how to change your view on being healthy and living a healthy life. It also gives you a fitness challenge for the week and a meal plan to use for each week too.
I found this book very helpful and informative. I’ve been studying health and fitness for the past year and I still learned a lot from this book. Plus it also confirmed what I have been learning about.
Scott uses real people with their real stories of weight loss, body image and health/fitness.I loved this because it made it more real to me. I even found people in the book that sounded just like me, which helped me with keeping up with the hard work I’m doing.
I would very much suggest this book to my readers. It’s a 6 week challenge I think we all should go through. I believe if we keep challenging ourselves with new goals and using new ways, we will be able to reach our health potential.

“Superfoods For Women Only” book review & giveaway
My Thoughts-
I was very excited to be given the opportunity to read, “Superfoods for Women Only: 20 Vital Foods for Soft Hair, Clear Skin, and Feeling Younger” by Hilary Greenleaf.
The book introduces you to the term “Superfood”. it explains what makes a food a superfood and the benefits it has to your body. It then goes through the different food groups and what would be considered a superfood found in North America or easy to purchase. After the description of the food it explains why it’s a superfood. it then gives you 1-3 recipes you can make using the food.
I really enjoyed reading this book. It’s one you’ll want to keep on hand for writing your grocery list for the week. I know there are a ton of recipes I can’t wait to make and try out. Quite a few of those I know my kids will love. I found myself marking almost every page to remember to come back to and re-read. It’s that good.
if you’re looking for more foods to help you with your health/weight Loss I would highly suggest this book. In fact I would suggest this book for everyone to read and keep as a reference. I’m happy that there are more and more books out there to help people learn how to eat, what to eat.

Tropical Traditions Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil review & giveaway
MY Thoughts-
Since my family has started to eat healthier and cleaner I’ve been very interested in trying out Tropical Traditions products. Items like their organic Buckwheat buttermilk pancakes and organic pumpkin seeds and popcorn all sound very yummy.
However one product I wanted to try the most is their organic Coconut Oil. I’ve heard so many health benefits by using coconut oil plus coconuts are one of my favorite foods(and smells).
I had never cooked with Coconut Oil before so I decided to check out their “How to Use Coconut Oil: There are hundreds of uses!“. It has many amazing ideas of ways to cook with the oil. At the bottom of the page there is a link to more recipes and I decided to make two delicious treats found on that page- “Healthier Peanut Butter Balls” and “Almond Butter Freezer Fudge”(submitted by Megan, Glendale, CA). Both were easy and fun to make. I say fun because it was fun to lick out the bowls after I was done. I really loved the dark chocolate with coconut oil taste the best. I plan on trying many of the cooking ideas they provided, next will be “Chocolate Coconut Banana Protein Shake”. Sounds amazing too.
While working with the Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil I read a lot on their site. I learned that the coconut oil is made in the Philippines using traditional methods that has been passed down from generation to generation. And that through recent studies it has shown that traditionally made coconut oil is higher in antioxidants then others. I love reading this. First off knowing that families are passing down a great tradition through out the years. But the plus for me is the antioxidants, when looking for healthy foods that’s one thing I ask, does it contain antioxidants? What are the calories? The fat content? Health benefits? ect…
I’m very impressed with Tropical Traditions, coconut oil and I can’t wait to try out other food items and health products from them.
