Journey Gym week #2 update

Just finished my second week of the Journey Gym. This week a focused on the 20 minute video. Even though this took longer then the other video I think I loved it even more. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVED doing the 10 minute workout, but I loved the challenge of doing 20 moves in 20 minutes. I worked up a huge sweat and was breathing heavy when I was done. I also got to use the Journey Gym differently, we moved the straps to the middle and did a couple moves that way. (below is a photo of one of the moves we did).

I’m still not going to post my weight loss from this past week. the past 2.5 weeks have been the week from h.e. double hockey sticks and I think in total those two weeks I ate enough food to cover maybe 5 days of those 2.5 weeks. My weight loss has been huge but mostly from not being able to eat. I’m finally back on track with eating and managing my stress, which means I might gain some weight back. But rest assured I’m doing very well at keeping the weight off and when I am eating I’m still eating healthy. I’m hoping to not have as much stress this week and will continue on working on being healthy. This is my life and I want to live it a long time. Also sorry for not posting my 60lb celebration post. I’m still working on it.
Thank you all for joining me these past 9 months. I’m loving this and am grateful for all your support.

I really do encourage you all to check out the Journey Gym. They have a great payment plan if you can’t pay for it all at once. Trust me this really does give you a great workout.

REMINDER!!! You could WIN a Journey Gym for yourself. Ends Sept 15th.

Journey Gym- week #1 update

I’m back again this week to talk about my first week with the Journey Gym. But before I get started just a reminder that one of you could WIN a Journey Gym for yourself.
This past week was a very very rough one for me. I couldn’t eat because of stress(I wont be sharing my weight this week because I dropped too much and I know it will go back up this week once I can start eating again). But one thing I liked about the Journey Gym is my workouts are only 10 minutes(and let me tell you, you work up a sweat doing it). Amongst all the stress I didn’t have to set aside a lot of time to workout but I could still workout.
Something I also noticed was I didn’t need a lot of space around me to be able to workout, a lot of other workout videos and systems require a lot of space around you but this can be done in smaller spots. Just like a hotel room, still proving to me that this is perfect for traveling.
Do I still recommend the Journey Gym? YES!!!! It’s perfect for me and I would hope you too. be on the look our for my week 2 update coming next Monday. I will be doing the 20 minute video this week.
This photo is me doing a move where you hope from one side to the other. I love it.

And this is a short video of two of the moves I get to do in the 10 minute workout.

* A free online community at www.journeygym.com where you are able to create exercise videos, track your activity and nutrition, and share your progress with friends and family.
* Free shipping and handling for orders in the U.S. and Canada.”

My Thoughts-
The Journey Gym is very simple to set up and use. I wish I had this while I was on vacation. It really is a gym in a compact case. The gym also comes with a workout DVD with a 10 minute workout and a 20 minute workout. You are allowed to go as slow or as fast as you want to help push yourself. But you have to remember each move is 1 minute long and you need to be sure you have the endurance to make it all the way through.
If you want you can also find some amazing workouts to do The online. Along with a support community to help you reach your goals. I don’t really like having to use my computer for workouts because I have a tiny netbook but I’m sure this feature would benefit the rest of you.
Once I was done with my first workout I felt great. It really did become tough for me even after becoming strong these past 3 months. I did go harder and fast then the video but it was a great guide.
I will be doing the 10 minute video this week and checking in next Monday and the next week I will be reviewing the 20 minute video. This is going to be tons of fun. Below are a few photos of some moves you can do with the The journey gym.
