Happy Nappers- Penguin’s Igloo- review
My Thoughts-
I love finding new and interesting companies to share with my readers. Happy Nappers is one really awesome company. When you get your Happy Napper it comes as the animal’s home. For us we got the Penguin in an igloo, Lee LOVES penguins. You ring the door bell and you can hear the penguin snoring and then waking up and walking across the room. You can then unzip the door and flip the pillow inside out and the penguin is there to great your kid.
When Lee came home from school I showed her the pillow/house. She was very curious at what it was. I told her to ring the doorbell and see what happened. I then told her to unzip it and see what pops out. To her very excited surprise she found a very large, soft penguin.
This toy was totally cute. The material is very soft that makes you want to cuddle with it. The zipper is of a high quality plastic that doesn’t easily get caught in the fabric. Lee has slept with it every night since she got it and Moo is asking for the Monkey one they have. I know personally if they ever made an owl one I’d so get it for myself.

We are very impressed with Happy Nappers and think you’ll love them too. I also love that a portion of all Happy Nappers’ proceeds will be given to the Home Sweet Home Fund benefiting the Children’s Brain Tumor Foundation. I so love companies that give back, they truly care about the people.

YooHoo & Friends™ WannaBes – review & giveaway
ABOUT-
“The “WannaBes” part of the YooHoo & Friends line. For 2012, Aurora has added jungle and domestic/barnyard assortments. Each makes a fun sound when squeezed and sports a removable hoodie for added play value.”
MY Thoughts-

I have loved working with the Aurora company in the past. I became a fan of theirs through Yoohoo & Friends. SO I was excited to get a chance to share with you about the new set of Wannabes, in-particular the Yoohoo Giraffe. He’s a bush monkey dressed like a giraffe. The hood of the giraffe comes off showing off the cute monkey’s face. If you squeeze it’s belly it makes a monkey sound too. The first time Moo squeezed it, it made her jump. Now she can’t stop pushing it.
I’m in love with the Wannabes and I know Moo loves it too. She has taken him everywhere with her. He rides in her stroller, eats at a restaurant and goes to bed with her.
The Yoohoo Wannabe is very soft, it has a cute face and is the perfect size for little ones. What I also love about the Yoohoo & Friends is their free, interactive entertainment website www.yoohoofriends.com. There are a tons of games, activities and learning games for you and your children to enjoy.

-Available at Target, Walmart and Toys R Us!”
As most of you know we are HUGE fans of Squinkies around here. Lee has been collecting them for over a year now. So when we heard about Squinkies new pop up playsets we were very excited to see what they were like.
We have 2 beach sets, 1 cafe set, 1 town set and 1 house set. Each set comes with a pop up scene, a Squinkie and a card with pop out pieces to add to each scene. Lee has been having a blast setting up her Squinkies around the whole “town”. First they leave home and head out for some coffee, then they go and play at the beach. So cute.
Something I LOVE about the Squinkies pop up playsets is that they fold up nice and small, so they don’t take up a lot of space in our house. In fact that’s what I love about Squinkies in general, nice and small and takes up not a lot of space.
There are 12 sets to collect in Series one and we can’t wait to own them all and set up the entire town.

Disney – Enchanted Hair Rapunzel review
ABOUT-
-Pretty young Rapunzel has the most beautiful long hair that is so much fun to brush and when you do, her hair magically glows!
-The 15-inch doll comes beautifully dressed and includes a tiara, brush and mirror.
-Now you can share in the magic and adventure of Rapunzel’s world, too
My Thoughts-
“Santa” brought Lee this beautiful Rapunzel doll for Christmas. She had been asking for one for almost a whole year now, so to see her face LIGHT up when seeing it was priceless.
I was excited for this doll too until Lee tried brushing it’s hair. The company had some kind of product on the hair to make it look wavy in the packaging but made it impossible for my child to brush. The whole purpose of this doll was to brush her hair and see it light up. I spent a good hour brushing out the doll’s hair, before Lee could do it herself. About a handful of that hair fell out in the process.
But that is my only negative thought on this doll. Since fixing that problem Lee takes her around everywhere. And just before bed brushes her hair out and puts it in a ponytail, to keep it from tangling. Just like we do with Lee’s hair before bed. It’s very cute to see Lee treat this doll like a little girl and take care of her.
I love seeing Lee’s face when the hair lights up. “See mommy, she has magic hair! I want magic hair someday too.” AWWW.
Would I recommend this toy? Only to those who have patients for getting the hair brush-able. But it is worth the time to see your little girl’s face so happy.

Blok Squad Police Force Pursuit review

ABOUT-
“Put on your police hat and hit the streets with sirens blaring, a Bloktropolis state of emergency calls for you to serve and protect on land and sea with a team of stat-of-the-art Patrol vehicles.
Kids will have a blast as they build all three Patrol vehicles to secure a major accident site, lock down a crime scene.” for ages 5 and up
My Thoughts-
We were given a Blok Squad Police Force Pursuit set by Mega Bloks to try out and then share with my readers.
Although it says it’s for ages 5 and up. I would say the set up would be for kids ages 10 and up. My 5 year old LOVES playing with the toy now that all the pieces are put together but she had no clue how to read the directions. In fact I even had some problems and had to have my husband help me out. After about an hour of working together we got it all put together. It was fun doing that part and watching everything come together to become a boat, squad car and van, along with a trailer hitch for the boat and squad car.
We were missing one piece but had another piece that worked ok in it’s place. There were also a few left over pieces, so Lee built her own little thing with those, not sure what it is, but she’s having fun. I love that the little police men have a set of hand cuffs, walkie-talkies, bull horn, night stick, shield and little gun that came with them. It’s so cute watching Lee have two of the guys talking on the walkie-talkies to each other and the third guy in hand cuffs.
Once this set is put together you cannot take it apart, as the sticker decals yo place on them over lap parts. but I’m ok with that because the parts are very tiny and we have a 2 year old in our house, so the less chance of her finding a small part laying around.
We’ve never played with small Bloks from Mega Bloks before but I can say, this was FUN. Fun to work together as a family and fun to watch my little girl’s imagination soar!!

“Norbert the Nightmare Nibbler” book review
ABOUT-
“Norbert the Nightmare Nibbler” by Susan Smith with Miranda Paul– Illustrated by Kristine Marsh
“Kids will love to read along to this beautiful full colour glossy picture book as they discover how Norbert came to be the first Nightmare Nibbler sent to Earth in search of yummy bad dreams to fill up his belly with!”
My Thoughts-
Back in February I had the joy of being introduced to Norbert the Nightmare Nibbler, you can read my review here. We loved him so much we even brought him on TV.
The people at the Nightmare Nibbler company has recently released a full-color book telling us the story of where Norbert the Nightmare Nibbler came from and we learn why he was chosen to come and save our kids for their bad dreams.
Norbert comes from the Nightmare Nibbler Nation. His friends all know he LOVES to eat nightmares, in fact for a little guy he eats more then anyone else. One day there comes a plea from planet Earth to save their kids from bad dreams. As all the Nightmare Nibblers wait to see who gets picked, Norbert is thinking it wont be him, as he’s so small. As we all know, Norbert was picked and now we have him here to help our kids. I can honestly say that Lee can’t sleep without her Nibbler, she carries him around everywhere. Moo has been asking for a Nibbler of her own. So this Christmas their, Mama & Papa bought Moo a Nightmare Nibbler and lee this book. Both girls were SUPER happy upon opening their gifts. And Lee wanted me to read the book right away.

The book is only 28 pages long, the perfect length for little ones to sit and read with you. The drawings are totally cute. Lee even said she hopes more Nightmare Nibblers can come down to visit as they are all so cute.
Lee got excited when I told her the book was written by someone who live in Canada. And even more excited when she figured out that the Sam in the book is the same name as the author’s son. “I bet you mommy that the boy in the book is the same Sam as her son”. Way too cute.
If you’re looking to buying a Nightmare Nibbler and this amazing book, you can buy the COMBO on their site.
