Susan Nichole Handbags Willow- review

My Thoughts-
Christmas 2010 I received a Sierra in Army Green and fell in love from first sight and have used it for the past year and a half. Now I have the joy to introduce you to my new love, the Willow hand bag from Susan Nichole handbags.
With Earthday coming next week I wanted to share with my readers some amazing eco-friendly products. Susan Nichole handbags is an excellent eco-friendly, animal-friendly company. The Willow is “vegan, the interior is made from fabric created from recycled water and soda bottles and it’s made here in California, USA.” I love that the inside is made from recycled plastic bottles and that the bag was made locally. Both make it very earth friendly.
The quality of the Willow is great. The inside has 3 side pouches that are stitched in nicely, no seams will be ripping in this bag. I love the print on the outside too, looks great with a nice simple dress or with a pair of jeans. And you can either keep the strap long like I have it in the photo below or you can tie a knot in the strap and hold it by the short handle. The outside has a canvas feeling with a classy look.
I can honestly say when I use either the Willow or the Sierra from Susan Nichole handbags, I feel like a million dollars. They both a beautiful and knowing how friendly they are to the planet makes me hold my head up high.
I would strongly suggest you “like” their facebook page, follow them on twitter and sign up for their newsletter. Susan Nichole has many giveaways and emails many AMAZING sales.

Pambra- review

My Thoughts-

I was very interested in trying out the Pambra. It’s a liner that fits just under your bra to help absorb the annoying sweat you get under your breasts and onto your bra, making you feel all yucky all day. At least that’s how I would describe how I felt before trying out the Pambra.
Each package comes with 3 of the same color Pambra. I choose black as most of my clothing is darker and my bras are black too. I found it very easy to insert the liner under my bra. I also found it very comfortable to wear. In fact I forgot I had it in until night time when I took my bra off. I did notice that I didn’t have that sweat that sometimes collects on the underside of your bra anymore. And as the company points out, that means I don’t have to wash my bra as much. That is a double bonus as my bras are all hand-wash only and such a pain in the bum to do. The Pambra is washer & dryer safe, making it easy to just throw in with the rest of my laundry.
If you’re looking for a great solution to a more comfortable bra and less wear & tear on your bras I highly suggest you check out the Pambra. It comes in three colors and in packs of three(of one color). You really can’t go wrong.

My Thoughts-
I was so excited to be contacted by Something About Silver to review one of their amazing items. They so nicely surprised me with one of the most BEAUTIFUL necklaces I’ve ever seen, I even cried upon opening it- it was that beautiful.
I was sent a Little Gems Necklace with both my girl’s names on it and their birthstones. It came wrapped in a beautiful box. Upon opening the box I found that they wrapped the necklace in a little cloth bag, there was a silver polishing pad and instruction on how to care for it. The quality of the necklace is also amazing. Perfectly engraved names and the birthstone jewels are cute too.

I think this is the perfect gift for this Christmas and maybe even Valentines day(not that far away). There is also tons of other silver jewelry to pick from and I’m sure Something About Silver has something for that special someone in your life.
And to tell you how much I loved this necklace, the minute I tried it on I knew I had to bring it on Rogers TV for the holiday Must Haves show, so be on the look out for that.

Rebecca St. James “What Is He Thinking??” book review & giveaway

ABOUT-
What Is He Thinking??: What Guys Want Us to Know About Dating, Love, and Marriage by Rebecca St. James
“In WHAT IS HE THINKING??, Rebecca interviews a range of men from high-profile types to the guys next door, men that every woman can relate to. Although the interviews focus on single guys ages 20-35, Rebecca also includes words of wisdom from older mentors she respects who have been successfully married for years, people like her dad, life coach, and pastor.
The men share their thoughts on topics like how women can respect themselves and the men in their lives, modesty, purity, taking it slow, friendship, letting guys lead, and more. This book gives them the floor to say what they would really like women to know.
Rebecca also discusses her own dating life, speaking openly about the single life, her struggle with loneliness, and her hope for the future. She challenges women to see the men in their lives as brothers in Christ and to trust God with their dating lives.”

My Thoughts-
This book is very much geared towards single women but I did get some out of it and ways to help my own relationship with my husband and with God.
Rebecca St. James interviewed several men, some single, some married and got their thoughts on questions us women ask. There are 8 chapters covering different topics and within those chapters are mini topics that all relate to the chapter. At the end of each chapter there is a “few takeaways” section where we are given the gist of what the chapter was about and how to apply it to our lives.
As we know most men(and women) look for a physical attraction first when looking for a mate. But Rebecca St. James has the guys take that thought further and asks them what makes a women attractive to them. A lot talked about the woman’s character and her relationship with God as being very important to them. A lot of men said that a women shouldn’t be pushy when it comes to getting their attention, but yet make sure your intentions are known.
I think this book would be perfect for a young single women group. You could read a chapter a week and discuss what you learned and how you can apply it to today.
I enjoyed reading this book. I even had some good laughs and good “awww” moments while reading this book.

from their website-

All of the hand stamped jewelry designs we offer can be completely personalized. Names, words, dates, or phrases of your choosing. With or without pearls, crystals or birthstones. Most hand stamped necklaces are also available with either a satin or hammered finish that, along with your personalization, adds to their uniqueness. The choices are up to you!”

MY Thoughts-
I was SO excited when I was contacted by Joseph Allen Designs to work with them on reviewing one of their beautiful pieces of jewelry. It was hard to pick just one piece I wanted to review, because everything I looked at looked amazing. But I ended up picking the Little Book Of Tags with my girls’ names on two tags and a birthstone for each.
When my necklace came in the mail my jaw dropped. It was so beautiful and perfect. And I loved how tiny the tags were, it made them so cute.

The quality of these are AMAZING! The hand stamped necklace was stamped perfectly in the center. i also loved whatever font they used to do it. The chain of the necklace is dainty and oh so pretty too. I was afraid that when ordering the birthstones with it they might be too scratchy(being they are shaped sort of like diamonds with edges) but I never noticed any discomfort wearing it.
When I wore this to a party people kept saying how beautiful it was and “awww, look, it’s your girls’ names, how sweet.” I love wearing it everyday.

If you’re looking for beautiful hand stamped jewelry I highly recommend Joseph Allen Designs. And guys, Christmas is around the corner, I think the woman in your life would love this. It even comes nicely wrapped with a bow.
