Andrea’s Thoughts-
My five year old daughter, Beth, and my three year old son, Liam were so very excited to try out the new play compound from Erica called Skwooshi. They loved the vibrant colours of the containers and the compound. The children loved molding it in the colourful shapes and then pulling the compound. Liam and Beth would drop it and smush it. Liam stayed in the same spot for almost 40 minutes while he was playing with this Skwooshi set. (He loves to run, jump and climb and normally only stays still when he is eating or sleeping.) Beth said that it is soft and then the compound is hard.

I write compound because I cannot call it dough. It does not have the characteristics of play dough. It has not dried out yet. It does not stick to clothes, upholstery, carpet, or human hair. Skwooshi does not leave a residue on hardwood or formica or laminate. When it is pulled, Skwooshi falls apart. when pressed into a mold; it is hard, but soft as soon as you pull it. Skwooshi looks like cotton candy foam when you pull it apart, but has a smooth surface when it is pressed together. This Skwooshi compound is a great indoor activity for ages three to six. It has made many rainy days more fun. I would recommend this to any parent for this age category.

When introducing this product to your kids, make sure you do not accidentally call it play dough. It is not play dough. It does not cut or roll out like play dough, and it does not act like play dough. Skwooshi is a totally different compound than play dough, and I would not mix it with any other dough like playing substance.

Thanks so much for letting us try out this product!
