My Thoughts-
Before I start sharing my thoughts about Juice in The Box I want to say I’m writing this from a type 1 diabetes parent perspective, however I think this box is perfect for all families that use juice boxes or just juice on a regular basis.

What is Juice in the Box? It’s a reusable BPA and Phthalate free container that has the same features of a regular store bought juice box but without all the waste. It also allows you to make your own juices, making your child’s juice box healthier. Another great thing is it’s dishwasher safe and also comes in 5 colors- green, orange, pink, red and blue.

When I heard of this product I think I shouted really loudly down to my husband saying he had to see this amazing product idea. We have a child with type 1 diabetes. With her T1D she has many times where her blood sugars go low. In order for her to be safe from extremely bad effects from a low we have to boost her blood sugars up quickly, we mainly do that with a box of juice (it’s quick to grab and drink down, and it boosts her sugars up very quickly). I joke that we should buy stock in a juice box company with all the money we spend on them. So when I saw Juice in the Box I KNEW it was a must have product for us and all our T1D friends. Really, it’s a brilliant product for us to buy. It’s cheaper then buying juice boxes all the time. It saves on the environment. Plus we can make our own juice and save money. It’s a win for us.

A Juice in the Box container fits the liquid from a juice box perfectly. There is no measuring needed for us. The container is also sealed tight with the liquid inside it. I put grape juice in and turned it upside down and shook it hard, nothing came out. I then dropped the container on the floor, it held tight. I was amazed. With a regular juice box just one wrong squeeze and we have juice everywhere, never mind if it’s dropped- that’s a lost cause. For our T1D child it was easy to drink out of and a lot of times when she has a sugar low her coordination is off and she sometimes squeezes to hard or tips the box, with Juice in The Box there is no worries about spills.

I am totally sold on this product and have been telling all my T1D friends all about it. I’ve also been talking about it with my friends with little kids. It’s just a must need product for every family. We found a store near us that sells them and we plan on buying a few more to have on hand.
