A Nightmare in Oz

Have any of you heard about “A Nightmare in Oz” by David M Keyes? Let me tell you, it’s so good.

People who live in Oz don’t dream. “It seems to me there is little point in dreaming in a world where all your desires are already met.” However, Dorothy is all the sudden dreaming again. First time in over a century. No, it’s not dreaming, having nightmares What’s causing these nightmares? Can anyone help? How will Dorothy and her friends fix this?

This book pulled me in from the start. I needed to know what was causing the nightmares for Dorothy. Who or what was causing fear amongst her friends? The story is written with such detail that I was picturing the story vividly in my head. I was dreaming about it, thinking about it when awake. I even saw an image online and the first thing I thought of was this book.
I’m hoping there will be more books. I loved this one so much. I didn’t want it to end.
For a good part of the book I was reading it out loud and my kids got drawn into what was happening too. I wouldn’t recommend having younger children read it as it is intense but it’s perfect from teens and older to enjoy.

Trust me when I say, you’re going to want to read this.
